When you spend 3 months telling people that you're having a 4th of July party, and then you remind them a month before, and THEN you spend an hour making flyers and posting them, and put one in everyone's box at the office, AND Put them up in your lab, and so many people say "hey, yeah! i'll totally be there!!"
and you get completely excited because maybe this time it will actually be a NICE party, NOT like all the other times that you've tried to have a party....
and then only one person shows up.
Yea. That sucks.
